The next day, head to Georgetown and ride the Georgetown Scenic Railroad, an old-time steam locomotive chugging its way up to the canyon, hauling past several gold and silver mines.

Overnight in Grand Junction, CO with dinner.

Take a Jeep Tour over Corkscrew Pass into the Red Mountains with a picnic lunch. Board the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad with breathtaking views and canyons of the San Juan National Forest.

Overnight stay at the Sky Ute Casino.

 

Ride the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad with views of the Rocky Mountains and lunch stop through the ride. Overnight stay in Alamosa, Colorado.

 

Ride the Royal Gorge Train and guided tour of the Garden of the Gods. Spend 2 nights in Colorado Springs with tour of Manitou Cliff Dwellings and ride aboard Pikes Peak Cog Railway. Chuckwagon Dinner at Flying W Ranch before flights home the next day.
